Michael Alram, Three Hunnic Bullae from Northwest India

Bulla no. 1, obverse, facsimile

This paper deals with three bullae of fired clay which were found in Pakistan in 2004 and are now in a private collection. Two show the typical male bust representing a Hunnic nobleman, while the third depicts a sun wheel (cakra) and can therefore also be seen in a non-Hunnic context.
